just came back from Hatyai, Thailand..
bumped into Sofia and her family at the border.. went to Tesco and bought some stuff.. the word "some" is so inappropriate.. hahaha.. anyway, had lunch there and went to a temple.. it was a pretty nice place..
HUGE Buddha statue..
i like this pagoda.. its nice..
walking up to the Goddess of Mercy..
there's a piece of her neck broken..
Guan Gong.. i think..
3 different Buddhas.. each bringing different meanings.. i guess..
i dont know what he's called but nice, no?
i love this fountain.. so elaborate..
i have no idea what this statue represents but the details are very good..
looks nicer when i was there..
would you believe me if i told you........
....that this is a graveyard? or rather a memorial place..
the statues backs are actually filled with the ashes of the cremated people and sealed up.. and all the statues face another version of Buddha or some thing like that.. i'm not that relegious.. sorry to say..
checked into the hotel and went to Big C after that.. bought "some" more stuff.. LOL.. went back to the hotel and bumped into Sofia again.. hahaha.. went out to check out the streets.. bought more stuff..
next morning went to have breakfast.. when getting into the elevator....... saw Sofia again.. staying same floor.. i guess she's also Berjaya member.. LOL.. after breakfast, hit the streets again.. went to the market and bought more stuff.. shopping trip, what do you expect? went to Robinsons after that.. then we checked out and went to some restaurant.. and yes, Sofia and her family was having lunch there also.. wtf right? never meet at all in hometown Penang but overseas so many times? hahahah..
